PAC LV

Polyanionic Cellulose low viscosity (PAC LV) is one of the most important additives in the oil and gas well drilling industry. This cellulose polymer is used to control the viscosity and stabilize the walls of the well in the modulation of drilling fluids. PAC LV acts as a sealing agent, controlling the viscosity of the drilling fluid and helping to prevent erosion and cracking of the well walls.

Since this substance is compatible with various chemical environments, biodegradable, and non-toxic, its environmental impact is also less. It is used in a variety of drilling fluids, from water-based to oil-based programs. This additive contributes to well stability, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs.

This substance meets NISOC standards and is also used for the suspension of solids present in the fluid, which can be suitable up to a temperature of 300°F.
