Objective: To evaluate and control the quality of bentonite in terms of yield, fluid loss, moisture, and particle size distribution based on API SPEC and NISOC DRILL. SPEC standards.
Scope of Application: Bentonite is a clay of the montmorillonite type that acts as a viscosity enhancer and gel former in freshwater and seawater drilling fluids.
